Updates to 3.8
---------------
1. Official release of 3.75 non beta moved to v3.8

2. HiRes timer enabled by default now.

3. Made some compatibility settings different in the boot disk.

4. Made license only display once.

5. Made several corrections to the manual.


Updates to 3.75 (Beta Only)
---------------
1. Added ability for sensors not to be optical. Can be N/C or N/O switches.

2. Corrected problems with Notice about car already used track not displaying 
correctly.

3. Displays message to inform before starting a new race that bottom sensors 
have cars on them still.

4. PineWood Simple program added. Allows simple derby race by simply 
displaying race results.

5. PineWood Advanced Setup program added. Use this program to adjust the 
advanced configuration settings. Such as the type of switches and sensors 
used on the track.

6. Boot disk support. Will now create a Boot disk for Windows NT, 2000, and 
XP support. Also boots off of CD-Rom disk.

7. Corrected several spelling errors.

8. Updated race.bat file.

9. Added a full users manual with installation instructions.

10. Added support for the upcoming Mini Interface.

11. Created a .pwc files. They are PineWood Configuration files. They are a 
file that tells the programs how to be configured for your interface and 
track.


Updates to 3.73
---------------
1. If enter car number after race and used fewer then 6 lanes then program 
would think unused lanes where used but with no info. Program now ignores 
other lanes correctly.

2. Because of previous problem. v3.72 and previous had the ability to wright 
incorrect data to data file. New programs will find and correct error.

Other minor corrections.

Updates to 3.72
---------------
1. Login program supports 2000 names.

2. Login program fixed several problems with tree.txt file creation. 
Possible lockup or slow operation on large database files that don't use 
coding method.

3. Login program now gives "Working..." when system is bizzy doing a search.

4. Corrected problem that PineWood Racer Car Information gave incorrect race 
time.

5. Installer now asks for Track Setup information such as Track Number, 
Length, and number of lanes.

6. Installer copy's it's self to the computer by default to allow 
reinstallation of components easer.

7. Include demo data and programs as an option to install.

Updates to 3.71
---------------
1. Added error checking when placing cars on the track. The program will 
now hi-light the cars that are incorrectly place on the track. Allowing you 
to remove and replace the cars as needed.

2. Updated the install program.

3. Made installer not delete entire program group. But only removes it's own 
items.

4. Added support for multiple track display to the Status Terminal.

Other minor corrections.


Updates to 3.70
---------------
1. Added an un-delete option. So if you delete a race by mistake you can 
un-delete up to 10 races.

2. Added support for finish race switch that can be triggered as a race 
finished command. This would be used by the person at the end of the track, 
so they could tell the computer that the race has finished even though not 
all the cars have crossed the finish line.

3. Windows installer will now make a RaceData folder, that it will keep all 
the race data in. This will allow it to be separate from the rest of the 
program files.

4. The Windows installer will now install by default to the "Program Files" 
folder, instead of c:\pwr folder. If you are upgrading then it will use the 
same folder that you are currently using.

5. Added Acrobat Reader install with the windows installer. (CD Only)

6. Added Terminal networking option to PWT.EXE.

7. Added support for the CueCat barcode reader.

8. Tested and verified that Windows ME will work and support both the 
interface and networking options.

9. Added options in setup for old and new interface version support. So if 
you have the old interface you will no longer need to get the patch.

10. Corrected an error in lookup.exe so it will not keep a file open while it 
runs. No more "shared violations".

11. Added print options to: Top10, Track Status, and Car Information.

12. Corrected an error in log.exe. The program now correctly builds a 
pwrtree.txt file every time. It is very slow some times. But works!!!!

Other Bugs have also been corrected.


Updates to 3.60n
-----------------
1. Removed the following files from setup, they are not needed anymore: 
BACKUP.ICO, PWTDEMO.EXE, R.COM, and NOTICE.TXT.

2. Added WordPerfect Templets to the included files for Windows 9x and 
Windows NT (not included in Win3.1)

3. Added PineWood Racer Homepage and EMail Links to start menu.

4. Fixed a problem with the date show "Error," if the date was not set 
correctly or no date at all.

5. Fixed a problem with PWR showing incorrect information for "Track 
Information". It was including cars that did not finish. And was causing 
several problems.

6. Added a windows installer. It will install on Windows 95, 98, NT, and 
2000. BUT, the PWR program will not work on NT or Windows 2000!

7. Corrected a network error when using a bar-code reader to read bar-codes 
on the cars.

8. Now PWR.EXE checks to see if it can find a network server before it starts 
in network mode.

9. Added a "Network", "Document", and "Other Utilities" subgroup to the 
PineWood Racer group in the start menu.

10. Added "3 of 9 Bar-code" font to windows installer.

11. Added license agreement.

12. Added this Readme.txt file.

13. Windows installer adds an interface Off command to your startup group. 
Every time you start windows, it verifies that the interface is turned off 
and not using up power. Sometimes windows will turn it on when it starts. 
This program does not stay loaded and will not take up system resources.

14. Added auto detect support to the Terminal (pwt.exe) program so the user 
no longer has to enter the port number every time they run it.

Other Bugs have been corrected also.


Updates to 3.5n
----------------
1. First Official Release of PineWood Racer Program.

2. Added several command options to PWR.EXE. Use the option /? to list all 
options.

3. Modified NetLog.exe to work with the "Mini Server".

4. Modified log.exe to load up BarCode settings, but will default to "/" as 
the BarCode key.

5. Added "Flush Network Cache" option to the Edit menu in PWR.EXE.

6. Added FPU Test to PWR.EXE.

Other Bugs have been corrected also.
